Dog Grooming Salon – Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Groom with A View, I am a one to one groomer, and will only ever have dogs from the same family in the salon, with no cross overs, I am aware that even if your pet is not reactive, they can react out of character with other dogs they are not familiar with, I also groom rescue and extremely nervous dogs, the one to one environment proving to be extremely beneficial for nervous pets.
I aim to provide the highest quality grooming services in a safe, friendly, and professional environment. By booking an appointment with me you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Appointments/cancellations
🐾 Appointments can be booked via message on my Facebook page, by phone, or by booking recurring appointments in person.
🐾 Please arrive on time. Please don’t arrive early, I may still be grooming my previous client, and I never want to cross over to avoid any incidents occurring. Not all dogs like other dogs 🫣. I may also be grabbing a quick break between clients.
🐾 Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or rescheduling at the owners expense.
🐾 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the total cost of the groom, payable before another appointment can be scheduled.

2. No-Show Policy
🐾 A “no-show” is defined as failing to arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment.
🐾 A no-show fee will be charged to compensate for lost time and business. This will be the full cost of the groom.
3. Pet Health and Behavior
🐾 Owners must inform me of any health conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues prior to grooming.
🐾 Aggressive or severely anxious dogs may be refused service for safety reasons, however I will do all I can to give your pet the best experience possible ❤️ thus far I have managed to work with reactive dogs and over time reduced their anxiety and stress of the grooming process, and have been able to continue with their grooming journey.
🐾 If a dog is found to have fleas, ticks, or any communicable condition, I reserve the right to refuse service or charge an additional cleaning/disinfection fee.

4. Matting and Coat Condition
🐾 Severely matted coats may require shaving, which can alter appearance and may expose underlying skin conditions. An
additional charge of £20 per hour will apply due to the extra time and care needed, and the re-sharpening of clipper blades and scissors ✂️.

5. Emergency Situations
🐾 In the unlikely event of an accident or health emergency, I will contact the owner immediately. If urgent care is needed, so that veterinary intervention may be sought.

6. Payment
🐾 Payment is due upon collection of your pet. I accept cash or bank transfer.

7. Photography and Marketing
🐾 With your permission, I may take before/after photos of your dog to use for promotional purposes. Please let me know if you do not wish me to take a picture of your dog. 📸
